Justin Bieber joins ‘The X Factor’

What is the justification for this show? Strombo is a complete no-name to non-Canadian audiences and he has only marginal appeal to Canadian ones. His interviewing abilities and celebrity status are certainly not stellar in any way. In my opinion his show on CBC should have been cancelled years ago.

I really can't see that there would be any great urge among U.S.broadcasters to hire him on his own merits.

Maybe the folks at CBC are trying to help George find employment elsewhere before Stephen Harper and his government start swinging their axes on the bloated body of our national broadcaster, which they know is coming sooner rather than later.

Strombo is just NOT THAT GOOD! I hate to say "The emporer has no clothes", but despite CBC's continual efforts to hyper-promote their talent, the proof of the pudding is in the eating of it...and this pudding has gone off.

Strombo has never, EVER been a draw. The numbers he gets at 7pm on CBC are beyond pathetic - and nowhere close to the 3 million CBC is selling. The only reason he is still on the air there is because the CBC never has to worry about making a profit - they just steal more from the taxpayer.

At this rate, I wouldn't be surprised if CNN cuts the episode order short and go back to re-running AC. Serves them right too, what else would you expect from Jeff Zucker.

So what are the facts on Gen. Hillier's alleged war crimes??

Yeah sure..whatever...but Strombo will never be able to erase the fact of his weak, soft ball tossing interview of (alleged) war criminal Rick Hillier. Notice how Hillier is rarely mentioned any more? He was an embarrassment to everybody..even his (alleged) war criminal PM, Harper. And all Strombo could do was lick Hillier's drunken boots. Strombo is definitely from the Mansbridge/Duffy/Wallin School of Running Interference for Corrupt Politicians while Not Offending American Imperialists.
