Just days after ABC announced the premiere date for Celebrity Diving, in which D-list celebrities train to execute high-flying maneuvers off a diving board, Fox has announced it will be airing a similar show.

Titled Stars in Danger: The High Dive, the Fox reality show will feature such notable names as Jersey Shore’s JWoww, Real Housewives twins Kim and Kyle Richards, ex-NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, soap star Antonio Sabato, Jr. and a couple of people who used to be on Baywatch, but nobody you’d remember.

ABC’s Celebrity Diving is based on an international format called Celebrity Splash, while the Fox show is based on a different international format, a German show called “TV Total Turnspringen.”

As is usually the case whenever TV networks try to outdo each other by launching identical shows, expect these two to cancel each other out.

Stars in Danger: The High Dive will premiere January 9 on Fox, while Celebrity Diving is scheduled to premiere March 19.
