About the Author

I. Paul Johnston

Ian Paul Johnston is an Emmy-nominated writer and author of Death By Television, an autobiographical look at growing up in front of the ole boob tube. When he's not writing about TV, he's writing for television, with writing credits on shows like IFC's The Business, YTV's Prank Patrol, the Space documentary Famous Monster, and the TCN comedies HouseParty and Liography (which he also created). His TV of choice is an old school 27 inch Toshiba with a broken mute button.
