The retail gods have spoken! This September Toronto’s Billy Bishop City Island Airport (YTS) will finally get its first retail outlet.
Conceived by Dexter and Byron Peart of WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie with interior designer Maria Rosa di Ioia of Idée Design, WANT PASSPORT is a one-of-a-kind shop carrying luxury, designer travel essentials from around the world. Highlights will include the stylish totes and accessories from WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie alongside Aesop body products and cameras from Leica.
The shop’s mission is to enhance the travel experience through offering more than just a magazine or novelty t-shirt and rather to be seen as a design destination for savvy Canadian travelers. I’m excited to have something other than the free coffee and cookies in the Porter lounge to distract me before I head off on my next trip!
The main boutique shop will be located in the arrivals area along with two kiosks in the departures lounges.
