On Saturday the world bid farewell to Neil Armstrong, one of the greatest travelers of all time.
Famous for being the first man to walk on the moon, Armstrong was an avid flyer and earned his flight certificate at the ripe age of 15. His Apollo 11 journey in 1969 made him a household name often quoted for saying “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Armstrong passed away on August 25th at age 82 after complications from heart surgery.
