As is universally accepted, the one true joy of travel is the prospect of sleeping in beds that literally hundreds of strange people from around the world have slept in before you. But the second joy comes from the kitchen.
The Food Network (and by extension www.foodnetwork.ca) has capitalized on this phenomenon by jamming its airwaves with oodles (and noodles) of programming catering (pun intended) to those nomads who will occasionally eat while they’re in a foreign land.
One such show is ‘Chuck’s Week Off’. In the episode below, “Chuck” takes to the streets of Mexico’s capital in search of fine tacos, the likes of which our northern North American minds cannot even fathom.
In this space (by ‘space’ I mean Travel blogs under the “Travel on Foodnetwork.ca” category) I aim to highlight some episodes from a variety of Food’s shows that you can watch on their site. Just be sure you don’t drool on your keyboard.
