2012 may have been Jamaica’s 50th anniversary but that doesn’t mean the party will be stopping any time soon!
The 2013 Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival just announced that headliners Mary J. Blige, John Legend and Michale Bolton have been secured for the islands annual celebration. Running from January 24 to 26th, the festival is known for it’s amazing diversity of local and world-class artists. Past festivals have featured performances by the likes of Diana Ross, Alicia Keys, Gladys Knight and Maroon 5 among many others.
More than just a great concert, the festival is a great excuse to just go to Jamaica. Escape the winter “blahs”, enjoy some music, drink some rum and get a tan. I think I may have just convinced myself to go.
