The University of Iowa has some serious compassion for its anxiety-riddled students. They’re offering a new service that helps them overcome test anxiety thanks to a mind-reading technology capable of guiding them into a state of relaxation.

The machine reads “Biofeedback”, which displays students’ brainwaves in realtime and can detect calm focus. Students using the service learn to reduce their anxiety over time through the biofeedback training. And when students are less stressed, they perform better on assignments and tests.

What I would have given to have this technology available to me when I was a student drowning in exams, essays, textbooks, and… nervous sweat. University of Iowa, your test scores better be through the roof!
