Everyone thought the iPhone 4S announcement would be the unveiling of a radically different phone. That wasn’t the case, though it was an impressive upgrade. But it’s looking more and more like our desires for new features and a noticeable re-design will be met with the iPhone 5.
Rumours have been swirling around for a good year now about a larger screen, but today we are hearing that the tried and true 30-pin connector we’ve all come to know and love will be switched for a smaller 19-pin port.
As always, these speculations are just that – guesses. And considering it’s been reported that Steve Jobs’ last task he set for himself was to kill the iPhone 5, these vastly different designs could be discarded bits leftover from the rejected model.
But at WWDC 2012, Apple revealed drastically different MacBooks, so maybe it’s not out of the question!
What do you think about switching to a smaller pin connector?
