Looks like Instagram quickly recovered from their controversial moment that had users worried the app would “own” their photos and have the rights to sell them after the company announced a change to their terms and conditions in late 2012. After a massive userbase outcry, Instagram decided to rethink the idea. And sure enough, just like Facebook, users keep piling on the bandwagon despite their better judgement!

Instagram announced today that it now has 90 million active monthly users worldwide. Those numbers have increased by 10% in one short month. The company also revealed its users share 40 million photos each day and post 1,000 comments and 8,500 likes per second. Wow!
