Today Facebook announced it is adding WordPress (.org and .com) integration for VIP users. This integration will allow those users to add their blog content to Facebook in just one click.

To get the integration feature, users can grab the Facebook for WordPress plugin. The plugin enables admins and bloggers to cross-publish content to the WordPress blogs, Facebook Timelines, and Facebook Pages they manage.

“The plugin was built by Facebook engineers in collaboration with open source partners, and makes it simple for anyone to make their WordPress site more social – no coding required,” says Facebook engineer Matt Kelly.

This is a win-win for both companies, seeing as how WordPress is making life even easier than they already do for their 900+ million users, and Facebook is getting an original (non-user-generated) content boost they seem to desperately want.

Do you think all the recent Facebook integration features we keep seeing pop up are helpful or over-saturate the social space? Let us know in the comments!
