If you don’t want your child’s entire baby album to be filled with photos featuring filters that make your little one look like he/she was born in 1977, you might want to start thinking about other iPhone accessories – because let’s face it, you’re not going to pick up a real camera most of the time.
That’s where the 3D Cone comes in. It’s an iPhone camera accessory that enables your iPhone to take stereoscopic photos. How many 3D baby photos of your child do you have? Not enough is the answer! You simply launch the corresponding app and take two photos in quick succession from a slightly different angles thanks to a specially positioned mirror.
Previous apps that enable 3D photography required the user to take one photo in one location and then move to another before taking the second. That’s not such a great workflow for moving subjects.
If you like the idea of the 3D Cone, donate to their Kickstarter page. You can pre-order yours for $39.
