Experimental music nerds, get ready. Today it was announced that YOKOKIMTHURSTON, a collaborative album from Yoko Ono and Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon, will be released September 24, via Chimera Music. The six-song album features contributions from all three musicians, two of which are recently (and very sadly) divorced. Fans can buy the first single, “Early In The Morning” online with all proceeds going to benefit Ashinga Rainbow House. For a taste, check them out in a 2010 performance below.
