Soul singer Amy Winehouse, who died at age 27 due to accidental alchohol poisoning will receive a new inquest into the cause of her death. Suzanne Greenway the coroner at the time of Winehouse’s death was found to be underqualified by the Camden Council. While she recorded a record of death “by misadventure” at the original London hearing, a new statement will be heard on January 8th. The singer’s Camden home was sold this month for a mere $1.9 million, though the house will still remain a shrine to Winehouse fans who mourn her tragic, early death.
