All the Spice Girls, yes even Posh, reunited for a public press announcement that the group’s music will inspire a new West End musical entitled Viva Forever! The musical, which debuts December 11, is a jukebox show that will be guided by the music of The Spice Girls. It will star Absolutely Fabulous comedienne Jennifer Saunders and is helmed by Mamma Mia producer Judy Craymer. Here’s what we’ve been given by way of plot description: ”As one girl follows her dreams, Viva Forever! charts her journey into the world of overnight celebrity and its impact on her mother and the friends she thought she’d have forever. From London to Spain and back again, as the world judges you, it’s all about who you really are and who you want to be, whatever the cost.”
The Spice Girls have only made one public appearance together since their final reunion show in 2007. The best selling group officially disbanded in 2000.
