Backstreet’s Back!…this time without a record label. While this year marks their 20th anniversary, the full lineup of the band has said that they have recorded over 15 songs in London, England this year with producer Martin Terefe. The band left their label Jive Records in 2010 and has said that they are 50 to 75 percent through production of their new record. Said Howie Dorough, “We’re writing a lot for this album, working with a lot of producers. We’re now free agents on our own label now. So we’re really in charge of making this album ourselves and it’s great, it’s something we’ve always wanted to do.” The full lineup of the band became complete with the reunion of member Kevin Richardson earlier this year after a six year hiatus. Said Kevin, “”I feel inspired to make music again with these guys.”
