Miley Cyrus broke her post VMA silence with her first interview on MTV today. Claiming that her father and Parent Television Council are now ‘over’ her saucy performance in which the 20-year-old twerked in a suggestive manner all over ‘Blurred Lines’ singer Robin Thicke, nearly 20 years her senior, Cyrus was casual about her controversial performance. Said the singer: ‘I don’t pay attention to the negative because I’ve seen this play out so many times. How many times have we seen this play out in pop music?” she asked. “Madonna’s done it. Britney’s done it. Every VMA performance, that’s what you’re looking for; you’re wanting to make history.’ Do you think Miley made history with her ‘We Can’t Stop’ performance, or are you still upset by the whole debacle?
