James Franco and Lindsay Lohan seem, in some ways, like a music video match in heaven. The overexposed actor directs Lindsay Lohan (now in ┬áill-advised comeback mode) in the hazy Los Angeles epic “Blue.” Recorded for R.E.M.’s final album Collapse Into Now, Lohan pouts over the canyon in a series of filmed photoshoots, party footage and sunset strip carousing. We’re sure it’s supposed to be some kind of grand statement on the meaning of fame or celebrity, but when fame whores meet pretention the result is something less than Andy Warhol would’ve wanted.
