Fleetwood Mac fans can rest easy. Singer Stevie Nicks has assured us that the band plans to get back together in 2013 on the CBS talk show This Morning. Last year guitarist Lindsay Buckingham speculated that plans could include a full-scale tour and a new album. The band last played together in 2009 for their worldwide “Unleashed” tour. Sadly, Fleetwood Mac’s tour has been marred by tragedy. Guitarist Bob Welch committed suicide earlier this month via a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. Welch was 65. “I couldn’t even imagine that anything could be so bad as to cause that,” said Nicks in an interview. “And I just feel very, very bad that somebody could’ve been that miserable to do something that crazy. So I can’t even tell you what in the world would have pushed him to do something that crazy.”
