Patrons to Canada’s most popular coffee shop can now check their email while waiting in line for their signature Double Double.

Tim Hortons announced it would roll out free WiFi to 2,000 of its stores, or about 90 per cent of its locations nationwide.

True, it’s not exactly a groundbreaking move for a coffee shop to offer free wireless Internet to its customers. Timmy’s follows other coffee chains such as Starbucks and McDonald’s, which has offered free Wifi for patrons at many of their locations for several years now.

The company plans to have its WiFi up and running by September of this year.
