Not enough of their customers are buying what some say is an already-overpriced cup of joe, so one popular coffee chain is taking high-end coffee prices to the next level.
Starbucks announced it would be adding a rare Costa Rican blend to its roster of specialty coffees, all for the low low price of $7 for a grande, or 16-ounce, size.
The “Geisha” brew is already being served at 46 locations across the Pacific Northwest, and is by far the priciest drink on the chain’s menu.
