Marissa Mayer could be having the best week of her life.
The former exec at Google was tapped as the new CEO for Yahoo, announced her pregnancy with a baby boy and was offered a pay package worth about $70 million all in one week’s time.
The package consists of $1 million in an annual salary, an annual bonus of up to $2 million and $42 million in stock options as well as $14 million just to forfeit her compensation from Google.
While her compensation may seem very high, it’s just a drop in the bucket compared to her net worth. The first female engineer at Google is worth an estimated $300 million.
