Quebecois police have made three arrests in the now infamous multi-million dollar maple syrup heist.
A warehouse belonging to the Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers experienced a very large theft between August 2011 and July 2012.
How large? How about 9,600 barrels, or approximately $18 million dollars worth.
An investigation into the heist has ultimately led to three arrests, and police say more will come in the near future.
In short, don’t mess with Canada’s maple syrup.
