So it’s come to this: apparently, stealing outhouses is a thing now. Judging from the picture below it’s  a very nice outhouse (despite the glaring lack of a crescent moon carved into the door), but seriously, who steals an outhouse?

The toilet in question belonged to Randy Nemirsky, who lives east of Edmonton. According to the CBC, the outhouse would have been quite the challenge to pilfer – it ways as much as 1,000 pounds, was bolted to the ground, and probably would have taken 4-6 people to move.

Outhouses don’t just fall out of the sky, so Nemirsky has set up an ad on Kijiji to try to recover the structure, which he estimates cost around $1,000 to build.

Unfortunately for him, that thing was probably stripped for parts and is halfway to Mexico by now.
