San Diego’s Jonathan and Kerin Narcisse thought a hot air balloon marriage would be the perfect way to start their lives together. You know, take to the air to exchange some vows, then enjoy some gorgeous aerial scenery with members of the wedding party. And it all worked out pretty well, in the sense that they got hitched and are still alive. But somewhere between A & B, a pesky gust of wind made things a little, uh, turbulent. And crashy. The good news: everyone’s okay. The better news: there’s video footage of the whole darn thing. Ah, the miracle of camera phones, am I right?

By the way, I partook in a romantic hot air balloon ride about 10 years ago, and lemme tell ya, I’m surprised this kinda thing doesn’t happen with every landing. There ain’t no wheels on the bottoms of these freakin’ balloon baskets! Hey, armchair inventors: get on this, will you? I’ve even got a cousin in Long Island who’s a patent lawyer. Let’s talk!
