Okay, so by now you’ve probably surmised that Russia + video cameras = crazy. From bizarre theme park rides to dudes climbing high-rise construction sites without harnesses, 2012 has been a banner YouTube year for our former Bolshevik pals.
But just as your favourite band is only as good as its last album, Russia ain’t one to rest on its laurels. Which brings us to this newly-uploaded bit of goodness: over 100 people in the city of Tver jumping off a bridge. At the same time. Tethered by ropes. As part of their, uh, rope jumping festival. Yes, courtesy of Glasnost and Perestroika, apparently that’s a thing now. Freedom is wonderful, ain’t it?
