If there’s one thing we’ve all learned from the closing credits of The Jetsons, it’s that treadmills are not to be trifled with. Essentially, they’re conveyors of abject destruction, ones geared less at optimizing our physical endurance and more at ensuring we fall flat on our dumb faces. Also, keep in mind that George’s weekly bout with machine-based terror takes place on a treadmill from the year 2062. Which means if such mishaps are commonplace with technology 50 years into the future, clearly these present-day models need to be approached with far greater caution.
Unfortunately, the fellow in this video is refusing to heed our cautionary tale. And with Jane Jetson not on hand to “stop this crazy thing,” he’ll only be finding himself at a further tactical disadvantage.
