Tower cranes are a staple at pretty much any large construction site. Hundreds of feet high, and oftentimes just as wide, these bad boys pull off the serious heavy lifting: steel, concrete, brick, windows, and myriad other materials. And since there may have never been a PSA on the subject, here’s your safety lesson for the day: don’t climb on them. Especially without a harness. Because, and not to get too sciency here, that’s how stuff like death happens.
The kid in this video appears to be blissfully unaware of the above lesson. As such, he chooses to give one of these menacing tower cranes the ol’ free-handed climb. Don’t worry, he doesn’t go splat or squish (or even smoosh). But sweet Georgia Brown is he ever insane. I’m talking crazier than Gary Busey in a dentist’s office full of laughing gas.
