For those who haven’t seen The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (which is all of us), here’s the 411 on drifting: it’s a technique where you deliberately oversteer your vehicle to lose rear-wheel traction. But you know, in a controlled way. What’s the purpose? I dunno, but it kinda looks badass and cool, so hey, that’s something. Of course, drifting isn’t without its risks. You can blow out your alignment, or worse, your transmission. It’s also hell on the ol’ tires.
That said, the dudes in this video not only scoff at these perils, they even choose to “kick it up a notch,” an expression familiar to those who used to watch that Emeril cooking show (which was none of us). I present to you: two BMWs drifting… together. Oh yes, guy. Oh yes…
