At this point, I think it’s safe to say that we’re all pretty much resigned to the fact that a zombie invasion of the United States is all but inevitable. It might not be this year or even next, but realistically it’s not a question of if but of when.
NDP MP Pat Martin clearly realizes this, and the other day during question period demanded to know Foreign Minister John Baird’s plans for the upcoming zombie onslaught. ”Zombies don’t recognize borders,” Martin said, before going on to say ”that a zombie invasion in the United States could easily turn into a continent-wide pandemic if it’s not contained.” Luckily, Baird seems to be confident that our lives brains will be spared:
“Mr. Speaker, I want to assure all Canadians that I am ‘dead-icated’ to ensure that this never happens. I want to say to this member and through him to all Canadians that under the leadership of this Prime Minster Canada will never become a save haven for zombies ever.”
