Okay, so although the NHL is back, it’s not BACK back. You know, in the sense that it’ll be a few more days before we can sink into our respective recliners, crack open a mid-quality Canadian beer, and flip on an actual game. Fortunately, there’s a little thing called the Kontinental Hockey League to bridge the gap. Founded in 2008, it’s a professional organization featuring hockey teams from a bunch of South Asian and Eastern European countries we all say we’ll visit but never get around to. Life, right?
Anyhow, despite not being the NHL, the level of play is pretty darn decent. Don’t believe me? Take a look at this recent K.H.L. game, where Jori Lehtera (he’s probably huge out there!) nails the Mother Russia of all trick shots.
