India is wicked cool. Especially when feature films are involved. Double especially when these feature films are massive, overblown musicals, which just to be clear is roughly 100% of the time. The non-exception to this rule? 1982′s Haathkadi. It stars Sanjeev Kumar, Reena Roy, Shatrughan Sinha, Prem Chopra, and several other people you haven’t heard of. The clip you’re about to see features singer Asha Bhosle performing the almost-hit Disco Station Disco, a song presumably about a train station that A) is named Disco, and B) coincidentally plays a lot of disco.

As for the accompanying dance routines? They feature leather-clad pseudo-hoodlums, hopping little people, dudes in papier-mâché animal masks, and a house band dressed like mid-1960s accountants. The end result? Pure perfection, pal. Bollywood style!
