Okay, so . September 5, 2012. Somewhere in Shēnzhèn, China. Closed-circuit TV. The basic gist: it’s the wee hours of the morning, and two vehicles are careening toward an intersection at the same time. One of them is a motorbike. The other is a big ol’ truck. Oh, and they’re heading right toward each other. So, uh, the dude on the bike is pretty much a goner. Splatfest 2012, baby! Unless, by some incredible feat that defies all known physical laws, a lightning-fast person runs out of nowhere and teleports him to safety.
Is it fake? Hey, you decide. But on the off-chance it isn’t, hoo boy: North America will really need to up its game if it’s gonna compete with the burgeoning Chinese teleportation market. Always one step ahead with the tech, those guys!
